AC Schnitzer is not one to beat around the bush or to waste any time. When they saw the new BMW 1-series Cabrio they knew that it was time for them to make their move. While they improved upon the vehicle we have to admit that this tuning job didn’t take much time at all.
The package for the new ACS1 Cabrio will give it all of the important Schitzerfield exterior deisgns – which include a diffuser, rear bumper, front bumper, and side skirts. One of the things that we are most happy about is the fact that they have created tuning packages for every single model in the lineup for the 1-series. This includes the 123d, 120d, and 135i. Now other than the extroverted aero kit, Why wait till now to release a body kit for a model that’s been replaced? Hennessey is brilliant and has worked on some of the top cars including the Viper, Mustang, and the Veyron. His most recent accomplishes are the GT-R, IS F, and ZR1. He has created these cars to be some of the best and most powerful on the road. It has been a month since Dodge revealed the Challenger SRT8 and already Hennessey has released a performance package – which has been called the SRT700. The 2008 Hennessey Venom 650R package is rumored to be faster and more powerful than its previous predecessors. John Hennessey has promised to makeover any 2008 Viper SR10 and transform it into the specifications of a Venom 650R at the Hennessey Performance Engineering plant located in Sealy, Texas.
Known as the Venom 650R, the engine modifications increase by 78 horsepower giving the Viper the ability to accelerate from 0 to 150 mph 1.5 seconds quicker (15.5 sec. versus 17.0 sec.) than the already factory-fast 2008 Viper that offers a stout 600 horsepower. The Venom 650R package consists of custom fabricated long tube stainless-steel exhaust headers with 1 7/8-inch primary tubes flowing into 5-to-1 merge collectors. Read the rest of this entry »
