MINI Works With ABF Performance With Fastest Cooper

August 20th, 2008 by tonks in ABF Performance, MINI, News

MINI Cooper SMINI and ABF Performance have come together to produce the world’s fastest Cooper. They will be using an S model from 2002 and will be scored a 10.48 second quarter-miile time and reaching 135 mph.

That’s seriously quick, especially for a car driven by the wrong wheels. Powering the beast is a 1.6-liter engine that’s had its stock supercharger thrown out in favor of one very large Garret turbocharger. A new computer from Motec keeps things running smoothly and allows the 650 horses to be unleashed to the front wheels.

One of my clients own this one and he has to get an insurance for this, since in their country it is illegal not to own any insurance for cars.
