AC Schnitzer Tweaks M3
BMW has heard nothing but positive remarks on the M3. It is a vehicle that can be used as an everyday car or as a car that you can take out on the high and rough roads. AC Schnitzer (German tuners) feels that they can improve upon the vehicle and are determined to customize it and give it a much better appearance.
They have added new body panels around the lower edge of the car and custom alloy wheels. The special badging placed strategically on the car leaves us no doubt that it is a Schnitzer.
The suspension has been tuned also, although they haven’t given the details on exactly what they’ve done to it - but they assure us it’s ‘enhanced.’ If the striking visual modifications are any indication of what’s gone on under the skin, though, you can expect tasteful adjustments that add to the essential character of the M3 and give a unique feel without going too far.
The new AC Schnitzer M3 can be seen at the Essen Motor Show in Germany. Schnitzer is going to be using the show to show off not only the new M3 - but also the newly tweaked BMW 1-series coupe, the MINI Cooper S, and the BMW 3-series coupe. If they sound familiar that is because that some of these have already been seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
